We invite proposals for new PSA studies with submissions due in September and December. Check the official call announcement for details on requirements and the selection process.
To support submissions, we’re offering a free 8-week workshop covering Big Team Science project components and providing feedback. The workshops are every Thursday at 11am EDT, from August 1 to September 19, on zoom!. Recordings will be available on the PSA YouTube channel. For questions, email psysciac…@gmail.com with the subject “Call for Studies Questions.” Final call for a paid metascientific study on generalizability related to PSA-JTF2! We want to publicly thank Tia Blackall for their amazing year of service as Research Coordinator with the PSA! They are embarking upon an exciting new career chapter. Tia will join Simon Fraser University’s Psychology Graduate program in the Experimental Law and Forensic Psychology stream. They plan to conduct research on subjectivity within the criminal justice system, such as cognitive bias effects in forensic practitioners. A new international team science project on cognition in intellectual disability is seeking collaborators! The project will create a global database to enable a comprehensive study of intellectual disability. The core advisory group will set the main research protocol, but participating groups can propose additional exploratory questions for separate publications. We’re currently preparing the protocol and recruiting research teams.
