CBNEC launches Regional Hubs for South Asia & Latin America and Caribbean

The Community Building & Network Expansion committee of the PSA aims to increase the access and reach of the PSA within and outside its network. To better build a community of researchers that is region-specific and focused on discussing community-centered research, we are launching Regional Hubs! We are testing regional hubs in two regions with PSA members: South Asia & Latin America and the Caribbean.

South Asia’s regional hubs will follow a journal club format with monthly talks led by South Asian researchers centering around South Asian research on psychology and mental health, training resources for early career researchers, discussions about collaborative open science, and social meet & greets to build community. Here is our timeline for the next few months: (SA Journal Club Timeline), we meet for the very first time on 8th June 2023. Follow us on Twitter (@SAJclub_PSA) or LinkedIn and if you’d like to nominate a colleague or yourself for one of our talks, please get in touch via this form.

The Latin America and Caribbean regional hubs is also gearing up for its first launch; be sure to check back at this space or on the PSA Twitter for more details!
